Get Your FREE Charity Gear!
Join the hundreds of runners and walkers who’ll wear their Charity Gear with pride on race day. By helping to raise funds for one of the official charities, you'll receive:
Official Prizes:
- Comprehensive "virtual" online fitness training for 18 weeks (raise $300 or more)
- Official charity training jersey (raise $500 or more)
- The "RED" laces (donate or raise $10 or more)
- Your own personal Web site for online fundraising
- Personal reward for supporting a cause
To receive your prizes, simply follow these easy steps:
Step 1: Choose one of the official charities and sign up as an individual fundraiser or start a team.
Step 2: Personalize your page and email to everyone you know!
Step 4: Raise $500 or more easily online by October 1, 2007 and represent your cause during the race.
You can pick up your FREE gear at the charity booth during the 2 day Health and Fitness EXPO. If you have raised $500 but are unable to pick up your prizes at the EXPO send an email to charityconnect@active.com and we will mail you your prizes.
Didn’t reach the $500 goal by race weekend? You can still make a self-donation (a donation to your own fundraising account) for the difference or simply opt out of receiving the charity gear. There are no financial penalties for not reaching the goal amount. Your support is essential to the program and no matter what your personal fundraising goals may be, we value your support and thank you in advance for all of your amazing effort and inspiration!
Runner Go Red. Lace up for a Cause.
Donate or raise $10 or more and receive your Red Laces to wear with pride during the race. You can pick up your charity laces at the charity booth during Health and Fitness EXPO.
Please note: Don’t forget to register for the event after you have signed up as a fundraiser. If you are not planning in taking part in the event you can still become a fundraiser and be apart of the team!
